28-30th September 2020 – On Line Summer school
From the 28th to the 30th of September 2020, the AMITIE consortium organized an on-line Summer School on Additive Manufacturing (AM) of Ceramics. On behalf of all AMITIE partners, we would like to thank:
- Prof. Aldo R. BOCCACCINI (Chair of Material Science – Biomaterials) and his team at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering of the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg for the lead in the organization
- The 10 invited speakers coming from academia and industry who gave highly informative insights in AM of Ceramics (numerical simulations and associated softwares, materials and technological aspects of various AM methods such as binder jetting, stereolithography, inkjet printing, robocasting, direct ink writing, etc.)
- The 160 registered participants who took part to this Summer School and discussions. 45% of those participants were coming from outside of the AMITIE consortium, 30% of them working outside of Europe.
This AMITIE Summer School was a great success in terms of dissemination, strengthening of the AMITIE consortium and connecting it to other networks in Europe and beyond.
